Great Modern was founded in January 2017 based on the founders lifelong fascination of Scandinavian design and mid century furniture and with the ambition to share this fascination with others by providing such furniture in good condition to others by looking up furniture, restoring and refinishing when needed and to sell it to buyers who share this fascination.

Although still young with an eagerness for further development, we are today a well established company which specializes in Scandinavian furniture, design and art and has skilled cabinetmakers and upholsterers with engagement and expertise to ensure the quality of the items we sell and not least a network of close partners who are eager to assist us in looking up and getting the items we and our customers are looking for.

Sustainability means meeting our own needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
