This set of six armchairs in mahogany, walnut and leather were made by cabinetmaker Rud. Rasmussen in 1935. According to Rasmussen, the chairs are one of several variants of Kaare Klint's Barcelona chair, made in small numbers by Rasmussen in the 1930s. 
 
The chairs were upholstered in the past and retain patina and wear consistent with age and use. One chair has small cut in the leather on the seat that has been repaired and a stain in the leather on the backside of the backrest.
