Set of two Hans Wegner AP38 'Airport' Chairs by A.P. Stolen Denmark.

The exceptional modern chairs were designed in 1958, on tubular-steel frames with sharp triangle boomerang shape chrome details on both sides of each seat. Seats are upholstered in Black leather. Although not designed specifically for airports this chair got it's name after Copenhagen's "Kastrup Airport" which is still today furnished with similar chairs. With this tubular-steel chair Wegner proved that upholstered chairs do not have to be large and overstuffed in order to be comfortable in use. The exceptional modern chairs were designed in 1958, on tubular-steel frames with sharp triangle boomerang shaped steel detail on both sides of each seat.
