Erik Buchs model 49 with it's floating seat was designed by Erik Buch for Oddense Maskinsnedkeri in 1949. The chair have a simple yet solid construction with elegant lines and provide a very comfortable seating experience on the elegant floating seat design.
We buy old used Erik Buch model 49 rosewood dining chairs that are beeing fully restored by our workshop and used to create sets of 2, 4, 6. 8. 10, 12 or any number of chairs you are looking for.
The careful restauration is handled by our very experienced craftsmen who make sure that all joints are ceeing checked and reglued if needed, other needed repairs made including the backrest, frames carefully sanded 2 - 3 times by hand and refinished. to insure that they are in very good condition with only minimal signs of age and use.
Seats and backrests are beeing deupholstered, repairs made if needed, refoamed and finally reupholstered with the material you wish for.
