Sets of fully restored, 1960s rosewood model 42 dining chairs by Kai Kristiansen for Schous Møbelfabrik. 
 
The chairs have Kai Kristiansens typical light and elegant design that make them fit in easily where you want them in your home - a design that was so uniqe that his colleague the famous designer Hans J. Wegner characterized model 42 as beautiful from all angles when the chair with it´s unique backrest swivel function was revealed in 1956. 
 
We buy old used Kai Kristiansen model 42 rosewood dining chairs that are beeing fully restored by our workshop and used to create sets of 2, 4, 6. 8. 10, 12 or any number of chairs you are looking for. 
 
The carefull restauration is handled by our very experienced craftsmen who make sure that  all joints are ceeing checked and reglued if needed, other needed repairs made including the backrest, frames carefully sanded 2 - 3 times by hand and refinished. to insure that they are in very good condition with only minimal signs of age and use. 
 
Seats and backrests are beeing deupholstered, repairs made if needed, refoamed and finally reupholstered with the material you wish for.
