Erik Wørts

Erik Wørts was one of the most productive Danish furniture designers during the golden age of Danish Design. Through decades of cooperation with IKEA he is probably one of the Danish furniture creators, whose works can be found in the most homes worldwide.

 

Wørts had a solid skilled background as son of a carpenter. He was educated at the Art Works School in Copenhagen, and during the 1960'es he was steadily connected to the design shops of FDB - the Danish cooperative retailers.
